Pinnacle Cup to return in 2023; including LATAM CS:GO events
The Pinnacle Cup, a CS:GO tournament series organised by sports and esports betting company Pinnacle, has announced it will return to run more CS:GO events in 2023.
The Cup will feature four new tournaments during the year and will include a brand new Brazilian circuit which will consist of two events.
The Pinnacle Cup is a CS:GO tournament series that is organised by Pinnacle. The latest edition of the tournament took place in 2022, followed by a break. According to Pinnacle, that break is nearing its end, and there will be a total of four new events this year. The company did not, however, announce any details about specific tournaments.
Alongside it’s CS:GO event’s, the betting company also runs Pinnacle Cup tournaments for Dota 2. Recently the company concluded Pinnacle Cup: Malta Vibes #1, which was won by ex-HellRaisers.
There will be a total of four large-scale CS:GO tournaments organised this year, and each of the tournaments will include a Swiss and Playoff stage. The headline tournaments will also include a Play-In stage with a $50,000 prize pool. Two of the large tournaments are set to take place in Brazil, and the details about the remaining events were not disclosed.

These events will give teams at the top of their game, as well as aspiring teams trying to break into the elite tier, a chance to prove themselves.”
Pinnacle also announced that the data and analytics company GRID will remain the official Pinnacle Cup data partner and that Maltese esports company Eden Esports will also remain the production partner of the Cup.
