Dell Names Tyrelle Appleton Global Esports Partnerships Advisor – The Esports Observer

Tyrelle Appleton has joined computer maker Dell as its new global esports partnerships advisor. Appleton, who is also a partnered streamer on Twitch, most recently worked as the esports program manager for New England College, where he also served as an adjunct professor teaching an intro to esports management course.
In addition, Appleton was honored at the 2020 Esports Awards with the Collegiate Esports Award for his work in the space.
In his new role, Appleton will manage Dell’s global esports partnerships in tandem with regional marketing teams, developer and execute marketing plans with esports partners, and help in the creation of briefs to enhance “regional marketing, creative development, communications, social teams, vendor funding, product group,” and more.
Dell owns the gaming-focused PC brand Alienware, which sponsors a number of esports leagues and teams including Team Liquid, LCS, Misfits Gaming, and many others.
