Monitor and screens manufacturer TPV Technology Limited through its brand AOC announced the Ultimasters AOC, an open Valorant tournament in Brazil. It is the first esports tournament promoted by the brand in the country, choosing Valorant as the featured game to promote its new peripherals, designed to enhance game performance, especially for first-person shooters.

AOC signed the local esports promotion company Gaming Culture to organize the event, which will be responsible for the tournament’s project conception: from the logo, layout, and overlay for transmission, to its overall execution. Also, the Ultimasters AOC will be broadcast on Gaming Culture’s Twitch channel.

Qualifiers for the event will take place on Jan. 6 – 7, with the main event to be held Jan. 14 – 17. The prize pool adds up to $15K BRL (roughly $2.9K USD), to be split between the three best teams. Among the teams currently registered in the tournament, there are Valorant First Strike participants including Vorax, which could not play in Riot Games’ First Strike main event due to a COVID-19 outbreak in its Valorant roster.
