Gaming Charity Platform Leyline Hires Yugina Yun as Biz Dev Manager – The Esports Observer

Gaming-focused charity platform Leyline has hired Yugina Yun as its new business development manager.  Prior to joining Leyline, Yun worked at PC hardware company CORSAIR as its esports collegiate program specialist, working with student groups to create and sponsor engaging content for their local schools.

In addition to spearheading various community focused esports groups, Yun also spent nearly three years at Blizzard Entertainment in various roles, including as a liaison to North American collegiate esports organization Tespa.

When asked about her focus at Leyline and if it involved her expertise in the collegiate esports space, Yun told The Esports Observer that her focus will be on business development, but added that she will continue to support the collegiate esports community in her personal time.

“I’m on the biz dev team and won’t be focusing on collegiate initiatives here,” she said. “However, in my personal time I’m taking on advisory roles with other collegiate orgs to help them develop their programming and help gap some major problems in the collegiate space.”

Leyline was founded by former Blizzard employee Jeremy Dela Rosa, who worked at the company for 10 years in various roles. Leyline is a non-profit that challenges the gaming community to donate time and effort in exchange for rewards such as gift cards and in-game items. For example, giving blood, doing charity work in the community, or even allocating PC processor power for research projects.
